y creative outlet these past few months, was creating western domino pendants!!
These nifty pendants, take a bit more work then they look! Finding the appropriate size and picture, sealing the picture, using smelly and sticky resin, that if it’s not mixed right, doesn’t cure…ugh!! Filing the picture, and making it into a pendant.
To keep you into mode of Stampede Fun amongst all those free Pancake breakfasts, pony rides, and the desire of kicking up your heels to join in square dancing or line dancing, I’m offering you one of these adorable western domino pendants, which will be given away for FREE after the day of the first FREE stampede breakfast in the Community of Lake Chaparral 9-12 am (before Stampede even starts!) on June 27! www.lakechap.ca

Ok, not fair. I love anything and everything western. I love Charlie Russell art, I love John Wayne/Clint Eastwood westerns. I’ve read every Louis L’amour ever written. I’ve even started collecting them. I own cowboy boots, gum boots and a cowboy hat. And there is real manure on the boots. I only listen to Country Music and can sing the words to every Marty Robbins song written. Just don’t ask me to, I don’t sing as well as I know the words. I often go into Lammles just to smell. Q-baby Wranglers rock. I have like 3 pair of deerskin leather riding gloves. I don’t ride too much anymore though… One of my favourite songs is “Cowboy take me away” by the Dixie Chicks. I love Cowboy poetry. I’ve seen Man from Snowy River like over 100 times. I love the smell of “horse”. My favourite horse right now is my nephew’s horse. Such a smart little thing. The horse (and the nephew). When I was a kid, I used to sing Home home on the range all the time. Ok, that is enough for about 200 entries, eh? Even if I don’t win, I would like to purchase one and I would even find you a picture. Oh, I hope I win! Your giveaways are the best.
